Sofoklis Karapidakis

Sofoklis Karapidakis is the Compliance Director and Data Protection Officer at Mytilineos S.A., based in Athens, Greece. Prior to this role, Mr. Karapidakis has held various positions in Siemens SA, Greece and Siemens AG, Germany as Head of Compliance and Data privacy 2007-2018 and Corporate strategy 2001-2007. Before that, he worked for 5 years as program manager in the construction industry on medium scale projects.

Sofoklis is a diploma engineer by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a two year Masters of Science degree on “Strategic management” by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
