Stuart Connick

Stuart Connick leads the Sanctions Operations and Outreach Team in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. He and his team are responsible for preparing the UK’s sanctions system for the end of the Transition Period. Prior to his current role, Stuart was Head of EU Exit and Sanctions Policy in the Export Control Joint Unit, leading on the trade elements of the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 and accompanying secondary legislation. Stuart also has a wide range of experience working in a variety of policy areas across Whitehall, including roles in the Ministry of Defence, Home Office and Department for Health and Social Care.
